– Arduino, WS2812, Neopixel

OriOrb is an orientation sensitive orb. It lights up with a unique color for each unique orientation in space. The orientation in space is resolved along the three axes X, Y and Z.

This interactive object is an attempt at finding and conveying meaning in spatial orientation, by using color as a marker. OriOrb can be used as a fun digital object and as a learning tool to correlate an abstract concept with an observable signifier.
